Patrick and Diana wanted to have their e-session at the beautiful Washington University Campus (where both have spent lots of time the last couple of years in the MBA program). They first met in 2008 in Chicago and really hit it off after a blind date. They have been best friends ever since. Patrick proposed in 2011 and a wedding is in the works for the fall of 2013. I’m excited to be able to share their session today and wish them the best of luck!
Hey there! I have a special little engagement session to share with the world today! It didn’t take long for Jennifer and Dustin to know they were right for each other after they met in church several months ago. Here they are now, getting ready to get married in July! We met at Jolly Mill for their sweet engagement session:

So Jen and Nate are a perfect 10 on the cute couple scale! Seriously! They are all smiles and they completely adore each other, it doesn’t get much better than that! I’m so excited about their wedding next summer I’m sure it will just be the absolute sweetest thing! Oh, and finishing this session up on a dreary day like today makes me soOOoo miss amazing fall weather!
And aren’t they already such a sweet little family bringing their puppies to the Forest Park engagement session?

Making this video has been a new adventure for me. I was pretty nervous about how to do it. It more than stressed me out. However, I’m really excited about how it has turned out. Thank you Emily and Scooter for your patience! They are getting married on Friday and I think this will make the perfect addition to their reception. Do you?

Although it went super well, my first session with these two got cut short because of terrible weather. And it worked out fine, because we got together for round two a few weeks ago and came up with this fun themed session. Goodness! Aren’t they cute! It was a good time, I look forward to seeing more of Emily and Scooter in the future!

I’m gonna kick it off today with some great blog posts! Here’s Emily and Scooter. If you had told these guys back in High School that they would be getting married this fall they would not have believed you. Especially Emily who thought Scooter was just plain cocky. Of course, she has since found out how wrong she was! And now here they are, so in love and ready to spend their lives together!
Who says you can’t find true love online? Melissa and Aaron met a couple of years ago via Facebook and are so close. They are getting married this August in Nauvoo, Illinois. Should be some super sweet pictures then, so be sure to stay tuned!
There are two times a day that photographers dub “the golden hour”, one is before sunset and the other is right after sunrise. Usually I prefer the sunset one for obvious reasons (it’s a little hard to be up and “on” by sunrise). But this time we went out early on a foggy morning and I was loving the yummy golden light through all the fog and dew. Definitely worth the early alarm clock! Take a look:

I had such a great time getting to know Marcella and Mike, who will be tying the knot next year. We really lucked out last week to get our session in at the start of some unseasonably warm weather. These pictures were taken at Castlewood Park – which is where Mike proposed (she totally saw it coming, btw!). They also brought along their “kids”, or Beagle puppies. It was lots of fun, and we got some great pics:
Hello everyone! I’ve been a little M.I.A. on the blog lately – I’ll address that in a bit – but first of all, I wanted to share some photos I snapped of Kelly and Kyle’s guestbook before I put it in the mail today.
The guestbook, as most of you know, is what guest will sign when they come into the wedding ceremony or reception. This is a new spin on your old-fashioned guestbook. Instead of pages with lines for signatures only brides and grooms can display their engagement pictures and encourage people to leave personal messages by not having lines. This is something that will be treasured for years and looked at again and again.

I also wanted to let everyone know that as my business has become for the most part exclusive to wedding customers, I will have fewer blog entries. Therefore, post will be made on Tuesday only instead of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Some weeks I may have multiple posts on Tuesdays, but this will be easier for me to keep up with. I really love and appreciate all of my followers and am excited to bring you some great stuff in the weeks to come! Thank you!
